Welcome to Textpilot. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Textpilot, including our Chrome extension and web application. By accessing or using Textpilot, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Textpilot is an AI-powered text enhancement tool that helps you improve your writing across the web using advanced language models.

By creating an account or using Textpilot, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.

This Agreement takes effect on the date you first use Textpilot and remains in effect until terminated by either party.

Subscription Plan (€2.90/month):

• Includes 1,000,000 AI tokens per month
• Uses our OpenAI API (no API key needed from you)
• Can be cancelled at any time from your dashboard
• Access continues until the end of your current billing period

Lifetime Plan (€25 one-time payment):

• Unlimited AI requests
• Requires your own OpenAI API key
• Pay only for OpenAI usage (typically cents per request)
• One-time payment with perpetual access

We reserve the right to modify pricing for new subscriptions at any time. Existing subscriptions will maintain their original pricing.

You agree to use Textpilot only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the service to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access restrictions
• Share your license keys with others or use keys that don't belong to you
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension or web application
• Use the service to spam or harass others
• Violate OpenAI's usage policies when using the service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all purchases. If you're not satisfied with Textpilot for any reason, contact us within 14 days of your purchase for a full refund, no questions asked.

After 14 days, all sales are final. Subscription renewals are non-refundable, but you can cancel at any time to prevent future charges.

Subscription Users: We use our own OpenAI API keys to process your requests. Your 1,000,000 monthly tokens are tracked and managed by our system.

Lifetime Users: You must provide your own OpenAI API key. This key is encrypted and stored securely. You are responsible for your OpenAI usage costs and must comply with OpenAI's terms of service.

Data Processing: Text you process through Textpilot is sent to OpenAI's API for transformation. We do not store the content of your texts. Results are returned directly to you.

While we strive to provide uninterrupted service, Textpilot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The service will be available at all times or without interruption
• The service will be error-free or bug-free
• AI-generated content will meet your specific requirements or expectations
• OpenAI's API will always be available (for Lifetime users)

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Textpilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Textpilot is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

You retain all rights to the content you create using Textpilot. You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy and legality of content you generate
• Reviewing AI-generated content before publishing or sharing it
• Ensuring your use of AI-generated content complies with applicable laws and third-party terms
• Any consequences of using or distributing AI-generated content

You may cancel your subscription or delete your account at any time from your dashboard.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior. Upon termination:

• Your access to Textpilot will be revoked
• Your license keys will be invalidated
• Your account data may be deleted after 30 days

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the dashboard. Continued use of Textpilot after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
